Saw your comment that you left 'UnderARock' and I just wanted to tell you that you have an option between ActionScript 2 and 3 in Flash CS3/CS4, so yeah, you don't have to stay in Flash 8 for the rest of your life.
It would still save as a cs3 file my friend.

By the way, do you recommend me learning AS 2.0 or 3.0? What do you use?
I myself, use AS2.0
It's quite different from 3.0 but it still does the job, you can still make games and movies much quicker and easier, but AS3.0 does more complex games and is less likely to lag and bug.
